Happy Pride Month from bi.org! Although there may be some parades this year, many of us will still be celebrating a different kind of Pride. Here at bi.org, we want to hear from you!
This June, we’re going to be trying to figure out who some of your favorite bi icons are.
We are going to do a series of heats to determine bi.org's favorite bicons. Cast your vote on Facebook or Twitter to help us choose!
Each week in June will have a different theme.
The first week of June will be your favorite bi musician.
The week of June 7th will be your favorite bi character in a video game.
The week of June 14th will be your favorite bi actor.
The week of June 21st, we’ll end it all with your favorite bi character in a TV show or movie.
Throughout the month, you can check in here to see where we are in the various heats and see the winners of previous weeks.
On Mondays, we’ll make a post requesting submissions for the next week’s theme (Wednesday, May 26th for the first round). We will read over submissions on Thursday evening to select our eight main competitors.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can vote on the Round 1 matchups.
Thursdays and Fridays, you can vote on the Round 2 matchups.
Saturdays, you vote on the final heat.
Sundays, we’ll announce the victor!
So that our very small team can sleep and keep this all moving, we’ll be counting votes around 8 pm PST. Votes from Twitter and Facebook are being combined for a grand total, feel free to vote on either or both platforms.
Please remember this is not at all a serious attempt to find the best bi person/character in the world. Rather, we're here to celebrate how much incredible bi representation there is. So go forth, vote, and have fun!
