Zagreus

Zagreus is the rebellious son of Hades, Prince of the Underworld, and protagonist of the video game Hades (2020).

Raised by Nyx but unaware that his real mother is Persephone, Zagreus is plagued by the sense that he doesn’t belong in the underworld and that he can never live up to the expectations of his father. Once he learns the true identity of his mother, he decides to leave Hades and find her.

Through his adventures, Zagreus meets many of the figures from Greek mythology, including Achilles, who trains him in the art of combat. While there seems to be a spark of romance, Achilles's heart already belongs to Patroclus. Zagreus eventually reunites the two.

There are three potential lovers available to Zagreus in the game. First is Dusa, the floating Gorgon head, who will ultimately decide that you're better as friends, but no hard feelings. The two longer-term relationship options are the Fury Megaera and Thanatos, the embodiment of death. Talk about a complicated love-life!
