Welcome to Bi.org!
From Questions to Community —Your Starting Point for All Things Bi
Did you know that bi people make up around 60% of the LGBT community? We’re actually the majority — yet still often misunderstood and overlooked. At Bi.org, we want to change that. We’re here to cut through the noise (and the myths) with positivity, visibility, and real, reliable info. We share real stories, reliable info, and positive representation for bi people, allies, and educators. From science and history to pop culture and personal advice, our goal is simple: to make bi people feel seen, understood, and celebrated.
Representation changes everything
Bi.org was launched in 1996 as bisexual.org to let bi people know they’re not alone. At the time, online resources for bisexuality were almost nonexistent. Since then, it has grown into a global community that connects bi people and shares accurate, science-based, and easy-to-understand information. Whether you’re here out of curiosity, with questions, or just to learn, we hope you find what you need.

Make a difference today
Bi.org exists to support the bi community and help educate others. We aim to provide clear, accessible, and reliable content for bi people, their allies, educators, and anyone interested in learning more. When someone looks up the word “bisexual,” we want them to find a thoughtful, supportive, and well-informed community that’s here to help them on their journey. Your generous donations make this possible — allowing us to continue our work through public outreach, inclusive sex education, and media that affirms and uplifts bi voices.
