Eleanor Shellstrop, played by Kristen Bell, is the protagonist of the NBC comedy The Good Place.
Eleanor repeatedly mentions her frenemy, Tahani's (Jameela Jamil), incredible good looks. In the season 1 finale, she also finds room to mention her attraction to Tahani.
She also has multiple romantic arcs with Chidi (William Jackson Harper), throughout the different timelines.
In season 3, Eleanor ends up flirting with and nearly kissing Chidi's girlfriend, Simone, in an alternate universe. I promise if you watch the show it makes sense.
Finally, in an interview with Metro, actor William Jackson Harper (Chidi), confirms that Eleanor is bi. When asked about a potential romantic relationship between Eleanor and Tahani, he responded,
There’s a million different possibilities and one of the things I think the show does well, and really kind of into, is the fact that Eleanor is super bisexual and it’s not something that we just focus on.[1]
In a later interview, Kristin Bell has also confirmed that she assumes that Eleanor is bi.
