Janelle Monáe and Tessa Thompson walk into a club together past a bunch of David Bowie look-alikes. The two seem like a couple, laughing, flirting, and touching. Then Janelle Monae walks up to a man at the bar and embraces him. This is all intercut with lots of very sexy choreography including Janelle Monáe crawling around between a bunch of legs.
She then runs between Tessa Thompson and the man rubbing up against each until the three all end up grinding up against each other on the dance floor.
Sometimes it really is just that simple.
The storyline and liberal use of bi lighting quickly made “Make Me Feel” the bi anthem of 2018.
