Hung Huynh
Famous BisHung Huynh is a Vietnamese-American chef, best known as the winner of the third season of Top Chef. He was the Executive Chef at Catch, The General, and Catch Miami.
Since then, Huynh has continued to travel around the world, actively cultivating his knowledge of all different types of cuisines and cultures. In 2011, he became Executive Chef of Catch in the Meatpacking District. His globally-inspired seafood restaurant became an international brand under his direction, with four more locations opening worldwide including in Dubai and Playa del Carmen. In 2013, he opened a modern Asian restaurant with the same group, housed in a multi-concept property on the Lower East Side.
In 2015, Chef Huynh left behind the successful empire he helped build to pursue his passion for traveling the world and actively cultivating his knowledge of disparate cuisines and cultures. In 2022 he signed on to become Director of Culinary Innovation at Johnny and Jimmy Tung’s Omei Restaurant Group, and will open Bang Bang Noodle Co in Orlando Florida.
