Anna Paquin is an actor. She was born in Manitoba, Canada, and grew up in Wellington, New Zealand. 

Her first film was The Piano, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in March of 1994 at the age of 11. She is the second-youngest Oscar winner in history. She went to appear in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous (2000) and as Rogue in the X-Men franchise.

From 2008 to 2014, she starred as Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO series True Blood, a show with more than its fair share of bi vampires.

In 2010, she came out in a PSA for the Give A Damn campaign. 

In 2012, she told Zooey Magazine that "It’s not being greedy, or numerous other ignorant things I’ve heard at this point. For a bisexual, it’s not about gender. That’s not the deciding factor for who they’re attracted to."
