Beatrice Hastings

Beatrice Hastings was the pen name of English writer, poet, and literary critic Emily Alice Haigh. Much of her work was published in the British Literary Magazine “The New Age.” 

Her lovers included her editor A.R. Orange, writer Katherine Mansfield, painter Amedeo Modigliani, and painter and critic Wyndham Lewis.
