FacesAbout Me
Where do I start? I am a SAHM of 4 beautiful children. I have been married to my husband for a little over 8 years now, though we have been together since our senior year of high school. In what little spare time that I do have I like to read, work on my art work, listen to music, and so much more 🙂
What Being Bi Means to Me
You love who you love when you love them… you aren’t confined to one box or the other.
If the World Knew About Bisexuals
That they exist. Its not just someone who is experimenting before they either realize they are hetero or homo sexual. And, just because someone is in either a homo or hetero relationship, doesn’t mean that they are not, in fact, bisexual.
My Path to Bisexual Identity
Only in the last year have I become more and more willing to admit that I am bisexual. I have always been attracted to both men and women. Some of my first experiences physically were with members of the same sex. But, growing up, I felt ashamed about these attractions, so I stuck with dating men, eventually meeting and marrying my husband. I love my husband, with all my heart. But, I am done denying the fact that I am also attracted to women.
The Toughest Thing About Being Bi
I think, for me, its the fact that I am married to a man, and have mainly dated men in the past. I am still struggling with how I can call myself bisexual, when I am living such a heterosexual life.
The Best Thing About Being Bi
I love the idea of being free to love who I love, be attracted to who I am attracted to, when I feel it. Though, I may never be in a relationship with a women, embracing that I am attracted to both men and women, feels right.
How People Reacted When I Came Out
I haven’t really shared this with many people in my life. Still processing, and dealing with myself at the moment. Luckily my husband is very understanding, having much the same feelings as I do himself.
