Tiana Brown

Tiana Brown (Serayah McNeill) is one of the hitmakers of the Empire label in Fox’s show Empire. 

She starts out as a recurring character who flirts with Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray). Eventually, they start dating and record a number of hits together. Her fortunes rise and fall throughout the show, but she is always one of the dominant talents at Empire Records. 

Tiana’s come out is explosive when a video leaks of her kissing her girlfriend, India (Elizabeth Whitson). She had been trying to keep her relationship a secret to preserve her career, and initially, it seems like she is also dating Hakeem to advance her career and help keep her girlfriend a secret. 

Hakeem and Tiana break up after the video is leaked and eventually, her relationship with India ends as well. Tiana tells Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) about her bisexuality and Cookie is absolutely accepting. She goes on to have relationships with men and women. 

Eventually, she and Hakeem reunite and she helps him to raise his daughter, Bella, and they have a son together named Prince.
