Som Hein

Famous Bis

Som Hein (솜혜빈), born Song Hye In (송혜인), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, model, and actress. She first came into the spotlight as a contestant on the reality show Idol School in 2017 but left the show early due to health issues, including anorexia, and bullying accusations.

Som made her solo debut on May 2019, with the digital single “Mini Radio (Zizizik)”. Later that year, she released another single, “Same Here”. Known for her candid approach to personal topics, she made headlines in August 2019 when she publicly came out as bi and shared her relationship with a woman, becoming one of the few K-pop idols to openly discuss their sexual orientation. The relationship ended in 2020.

In March 2024, after a period of inactivity, Som Hein returned as an independent artist with the single “Standing On My Void”, her first self-written work. Despite controversies and challenges throughout her career, including addressing past bullying accusations, she continues to establish herself as a unique voice in the entertainment industry.
