Orlando Jordan

Famous Bis

Orlando Ruben Jordan is an American professional wrestler best known for his WWE career, where he was a one-time United States Champion.

Misdiagnosed with autism as a child, Jordan had speech difficulties and received specialized instruction to overcome them. He competed in youth gymnastics and amateur wrestling, later winning the 1993 state championship at 189 pounds for Hermitage High School in Richmond, Virginia, before going on to attend Boise State University. Before becoming a professional wrestler, he was a member of the United States Forest Service. He then relocated to Florida, where he became a reputable amateur boxer.

In a memorable October 2003 episode of WWE SmackDown!, Jordan defeated Big Show by way of countout when Big Show had to run to the restroom after eating a laxative-spiked burrito.

Jordan came out as bi in March 2010 before his premier on TNA, a WWE competitor, and unveiled his very bi persona that same month. In 2012, Jordan opened another wrestling school in Australia where he currently lives. He was married in 2013 to a woman, and the two have a daughter together.

In an interview with Outsports Jordan sayed,

I’m proud of a lot of things in my life, including my sexuality. […] My character in TNA is pretty eccentric. But, in pro wrestling, the first priority is to be on top of the sport. Behind the smoke and mirrors of the character’s antics [and] his flamboyancy is a drive to be the best in the business. That’s my goal.[1]
