Nyle DiMarco is an actor, model, and deaf activist. In 2015, DiMarco was the winner of The CW’s reality television series America’s Next Top Model in season 22, becoming the second male winner and the first deaf winner. In the following year, he and professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd were the winners of the ABC televised dance competition Dancing with the Stars (2005-) in season 22.

In a 2015 article with Out, DiMarco talked about his sexuality. He uses the word fluid to describe his bisexuality. He’s been open about his attraction to men and women ever since.

Sexual fluidity to me means that you don’t really have a preference for dating men or women… it’s not something I’m embarrassed of.[1]

DiMarco’s activism led to him founding The Nyle DiMarco Foundation in 2016, a nonprofit organization providing access to resources for deaf children and their families. In 2020, he delivered the keynote address at the closing general session of the Annual Convention and Expo of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. He has also appeared in television shows such as Station 19 (2018–) and Queer as Folk (2022).
