Kathy Ann Najimy is an actor and activist known for her roles in Sister Act (1992), Hocus Pocus (1993), its 2022 sequel, and King of the Hill (1997-2010).

Her feminist comedy play, The Kathy and Mo Show (performed and written with Mo Gaffney) premiered in 1986 and had three very successful runs in New York that lead to two HBO specials; Parallel Lives and The Dark Side

She is also an activist who has campaigned for women's reproductive rights, LGBT causes, and civil rights. 

When asked about her sexual orientation by The Advocate in a 2004 interview she said, 

You know, we're both soft-edged straight.... Neither of us defines ourselves as heterosexual.[1]
