Joe Lycett

Famous Bis

Joe Lycett is a British comedian who has appeared on numerous television shows, including Live At The Apollo. He has also been a presenter for The Great British Sewing Bee and Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back.

He has made many radio appearances, and in September 2016, he took over for Miles Jupp as the host of It’s Not What You Know on BBC Radio 4. He made television appearances recently in The Big Fat Quiz, Dragon’s Den as a presenter, a character in Birdgirl as a voice actor, and Have I Got News For You as a panelist.

Lycett talks openly about his bisexuality in his stand-up routines and is currently planning his 2022 tour.

He isn’t shy about his sexuality on social media either.

He has a show called Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back (2019-present) that takes on big corporations with a comedic spin.

As a part of the show, Lycett famously changed his name to Hugo Boss to draw attention to the fact that the fashion giant was issuing cease and desist letters to other businesses with the word “Boss” in their name, specifically Swansea’s Boss Brewing. (He changed his name back that same year.)
