Jason Mraz is an American singer-songwriter. His 2002 debut album Waiting for My Rocket To Come contained the single "The Remedy". His fourth album, Love Is a Four-Letter World, peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200— his most successful album to date.

Mraz has won two Grammy Awards, as well as two Teen Choice Awards, and a People's Choice Award.

For pride month, Jason Mraz wrote a love letter to the LGBTQ community. He wrote a poem that ended,

And now the world is better because of you
We still have a long way to go
but know
I am bi your side
All ways.[1]

For those that thought this was still a little to vague, he confirmed his bisexuality in an interview with the New York Post. When they asked if the poem was his way of coming out as bi he responded,

Well yeah, and I didn't anticipate it. It kind of caught me by surprise, but I strive to continue to learn and evolve and know myself.... It was tough, 'cause not even my mom knew it, you know? And I realized that's the struggle that people in the LGBT community have. It can be a very stressful secret that we carry.[2]
