Demetria Devonne Lovato is an American singer, songwriter, and actress.

After starting her career on the children's television series Barney & Friends (1992–2010), her lead role in the Disney Channel television musical film Camp Rock (2008) launched her to stardom.

Lovato went on to become one of the biggest pop and R&B recording artists, selling over 2.7 million albums worldwide and racking up over 5.6 billion on-demand streams. Her work has been honored by the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, ALMA Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and the People's Choice Awards.

She has also continued to act, appearing in Glee (2009–2015), Will and Grace (1998–2020), Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017), and Dave (2020–).

In 2014, she became the face of the Human Rights Campaign's Americans for Marriage Equality Campaign.

In the 2017 documentary, Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated, she talks about using the dating app Raya.
