FacesAbout Me
Hi I am Hunter. I am an 18 year old who goes to University Of Vermont. I love to draw and write poems, usually about the inequality same-sex couples face. I am part of the LGBT community there which is run by my awesome Aunt Dot or Dorthea. I only have a couple of close friends, among them my amazing boyfriend Tristan. I am majoring in graphic design and I play video games.
What Being Bi Means to Me
Bisexual is just the word I use to describe my emotions for both sexes. To me it is sort of like my emotions’ secret identity.
If the World Knew About Bisexuals
We are not some weird inhuman alien who is going to “infect” you with our bisexuality….
My Path to Bisexual Identity
Well I knew in the second grade when I met this adorable British kid in my class and it was like “DING”. Then in about 7th grade I met Tristan whom I have been with ever since.
The Toughest Thing About Being Bi
The fact that we don’t have all the rights of “Straight” people… It bugs the hell out of me when they say I can have the legal benefits of marrying Tristan but not a real marriage.
The Best Thing About Being Bi
Knowing that I have other options. Even if all the guys but me become straight I still have girls.
How People Reacted When I Came Out
Most of them actually reacted really well. Yes, of course some of my friends were like “what the heck” or “ewwww” but for the most part my good friends were ok.
