Find Me At The Disco is a coming-of-age historical fiction novel by Diahanna Aurora Hampton, self-published in 2026. This is her debut novel.

Set in New York City in the late 1970s, the novel follows Liza Collins, who has just finished high school abroad and returned to the city. She intends to spend the next year getting work experience in the magazine industry before going off to college. While she’s there, she’ll live in her childhood home with her father, Will — hoping to reconnect with him during this time, as they’ve grown apart while she was away at school.

Though her father, Will, also hopes they’ll reconnect, he’s struggling with pressures of his own. These include work demands from his company, Focal, plus those of his new fiancé, Cynthia. On top of that, he’s also hiding something from Liza — something about her mother that might drive Will and Liza apart for good.

Told in alternating points of view, Find Me At The Disco asks big questions about family and love. Will Liza and Will be able to reconnect, or will their secrets push them too far apart? Find Me At The Disco explores these questions and others, pushing readers to examine the devastating impacts of social pressures as they impact both Will and Liza in very different, but equally detrimental, ways.
