Bob’s Burgers (2011-) is an American animated comedy show that airs on Fox. The half-hour cartoon centers on the Belchers — a family that lives on a beach town somewhere on the East Coast, where Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and his wife Linda (John Roberts) struggle to keep their burger joint afloat while their eccentric but deeply loved kids — Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Louise (voiced by Kirsten Schaal) deal with growing up.

Bob deeply loves his wife, Linda, and has since before they got married. He embraces her eccentricities, just as she does for him, even when they lead to trouble for him or the family. Throughout the show, we’ve never seen Bob stray from or cheat on Linda, nor has he shown any serious temptation to do so — he is a devoted family man.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean Bob is strictly heterosexual or only attracted to women. In Season 4, Episode 5, “Turkey in a Can,” a stressed Bob inadvertently flirts with a butcher after a series of mishaps with turkeys before Thanksgiving.

In this scene, Bob admits he’s “mostly straight” and acknowledges that the deli guy would’ve been out of his league. There’s also another episode where Bob casually mentions that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has a great body. While Bob never explicitly identifies as bisexual, these moments hint at his fluidity and add depth to his character, beyond just being throwaway lines.

Although his sexuality isn’t a central focus of the show, it’s a significant and warm addition to his well-rounded personality. As such, Bob stands out as one of the most beloved and positive representations of bisexual men in modern animated television.
