Leila is the star of the 2018 British TV series The Bisexual, written by and starring Desiree Akhavan. At the beginning of the show, she is recovering from a breakup with her longtime romantic and business partner, Sadie.
Although she hasn’t discussed it in the past, Leila knows that she is bi. She has been in a monogamous relationship with a woman her entire adult life, so she never really had the opportunity to explore that side of herself.
