The Todd is a surgical intern at New Sacred Heart Hospital. He appears in every season of Scrubs and is the butt of many jokes.
The Todd is best known for his womanizing, terrible innuendo, and high fives. However, speculation about his sexuality is rife within the hospital.
At one point he confides that he has had a threesome "and not the cool kind", meaning that it was two men and a woman. He also says that he appreciates "hot" regardless of gender. When the janitor finally just asks him about his sexuality, he responds, "I'm the Todd".
