Claire Bennet, played by Hayden Panettiere, is one of the main characters of the show Heroes. She is also a character in Heroes Reborn, a web series special based on the original show.
She begins the show as a High School cheerleader who has the power of rapid cellular regeneration, basically, she is almost unkillable. Along with other "heroes", she helps to save the world. She has a number of male love interests in the first few seasons.
In season 4, her friend and roommate, Gretchen Berg, reveals that she has a crush on Claire. They end up sharing a kiss and holding hands at the end of the season. The show was subsequently canceled. When the show resumed, there was a newspaper headline exposing Claire and Gretchen's relationship. Gretchen is embarrassed and breaks it off with Claire.
In Heroes Evolutions we learn that Claire falls in love with a man named Hammer, and in Heroes Reborn we learn that Hammer and Claire had children together.
