Angela Montenegro-Hodgins

Angela Montenegro, played by Michaela Conlin, is an artist who works at forensic reconstruction for the fictional Jeffersonian Institution on the show Bones (2005-2017). She often works with her best friend Dr. Temperance Brennan. 

She is often depicted as a free spirit who stands out in a workplace full of socially awkward scientists. Although she dates men throughout the show, she does have a three-episode arc with Roxie, a woman who eventually leaves her because Angela isn’t ready to plan for the future. She is initially married to Grayson Barasa and later marries her co-worker, Jack Hogins. 

Although Bones spends very little time discussing Angela’s bisexuality and only gives her the one girlfriend, Angela seems completely at home with her sexuality. She is unconcerned by her attraction to women and it’s assumed that there have been other girlfriends in her past.
