Val (played by Sarah Gallagher) is a main character on the LGBTI drama Queering, available on YouTube. 

Val’s life turns upside down when, fresh off her divorce, she uploads a bi coming out video which goes viral. Her daughter, lesbian Harper, is less-than-welcoming at this onslaught of news.

Val is a rare media exception of showing the specific trials and tribulations of a member of the Boomer Generation coming out in the modern day and age. Val is nervous at what this next chapter of her life will look like. She is a well-developed character, displaying hopes, fears, and dreams as the narrative unfolds and she and Harper come to terms with this newly revealed part of her.
