Merrill is a major character in Dragon Age II. A Dalish elf, she was the First to the Keeper of the Sabrae clan until she is quietly asked to leave for violating a major taboo (indulging in blood magic). Upon her departure from the clan, she joins Hawke’s team in their mission.
Like many characters in the Dragon Age series, Merrill can be seduced/romanced by the protagonist regardless of whether the main character is male or female — which means Merrill is bi.
