Dom O’Shane

Dom O’Shane is a supporting character in the graphic novel Bury the Lede, written by Gaby Dunn. 

Dom is a detective with the Boston police department who occasionally works as a source for cub reporter, lead character Madison Jackson, as she works on unraveling a murder case. 

Dom is kind and displays a wry sense of humor. During a date with Madison, Dom mentions his previous boyfriend and uses the term “bisexual” to describe himself. His orientation never gets used as a tool for manipulation, but it is a source of relief and recognition for Madison as she searches for a peaceful moment while attempting to crack her story.
