Daniel Newman is a model, actor, and musician.
He's had a successful modeling career, posing for Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, and Tommy Hilfiger in addition to a number of magazine covers. In 2016, he appeared on the cover of fashion photographer Thomas Knight's "Red Hot Exposed 2016" calendar.
Newman also has over 30 acting credits, and is best known for his recurring role as Daniel on The Walking Dead (2016–17). He has played a number of bit roles in major films or series, including 7th Heaven (1997), Sex and the City (2003), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), and Loki (2021). As a musician, contributed to the soundtrack of Twilight (2008).

Newman went on to post a video discussing the importance of visibility and his choice to come out.
A flurry of news networks assumed that when Newman came out about his boyfriend, he was coming out as gay. Later, Newman went on to correct this assumption by making clear that he is, in fact, bi.
