Amber Glenn is an American figure skater.

Glenn was the US Junior National Champion in 2014, and has been a two-time International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix bronze medalist, a three-time ISU Challenger Series Medalist, and a two-time top-ten finalist at the ISU Championships. In 2023, she was part of the gold medal-winning Team USA at the ISU World Team Trophy. In 2024, she won the US National Championship, her most impressive individual accolade to date.

In 2017, she worked with the filmmakers behind the anime mini-series, Yuri!!! On Ice (2016–2017) for their long-delayed film adaptation, Yuri!!! On Ice the Movie: Ice Adolescence.

Glenn made waves in 2019 by coming out as “bisexual/pansexual”, becoming one of the few openly LGBT female professional figure skaters. She is also the only openly LGBT female figure skater on Team USA.

Shortly after coming out, Glenn told the Dallas Voice,

I don’t want to shove my sexuality in people's faces, but I don’t want to hide who I am.[1]

Amber went on to discuss her concern about how bi women are often dismissed by society, saying:

The fear of not being accepted is a huge struggle for me. Being perceived as [going through] “just a phase” or [being] indecisive is a common thing for bisexual or pansexual women.[2]
