Nick Nelson is a main character in Alice Oseman's Heartstopper graphic novel series and its Netflix adaptation (2022-), where Kit Connor takes on the role. He first popped up in the 2014 book Solitaire.

In Heartstopper, Nick, a rugby team member, struggles with his sexuality until he meets Charlie, who helps him figure things out. Nick is a caring and sweet guy, totally devoted to his relationship with Charlie. He's into rugby, Formula One, Marvel, and enjoys rainy days. Nick's got a soft spot for animals, especially his dog Nellie. Tall, with dark blonde hair and brown eyes, Nick's appearance matches his friendly personality.

Aside from Heartstopper, Nick shows up in other works by Alice Oseman. Nick has a complicated family situation with his parents splitting up, a distant father, and a less-than-friendly brother named David.

Nick might seem like your typical big rugby player at 6ft 1, but he's actually a nice guy. He's kind, cheerful, and genuinely cares about others, even if he sometimes messes up trying to help. Besides rugby, Nick's got some surprising talents, like being a good baker.

Nick proudly expresses his bisexuality in the Netflix adaptation
