Vanya Hargreeves, played by Elliot Page, is one of seven children with superpowers adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves in the Netflix original series The Umbrella Academy

In season one, the audience is led to believe that Vanya, also referred to as Number Seven, has no powers. As the season progresses, we learn that she is the most powerful Hargreeves sibling and that her father used drugs to suppress her powers. Her ability to control sound allows her to move objects and send out blasts of power.

Vanya enters a romantic relationship with one of her violin students named Leonard Peabody in the first season. Through sinister methods, Leonard tries to help Vanya unlock her powers. Leonard pushes Vanya too far and meets an untimely death.

Carl dies in an accident, which means that Sissy and Vanya can finally be together.
