Tina Kennard, played by Laurel Holloman, is one of the main characters of the Showtime show The L Word.
During the first season, she and her partner Bette, played by Jennifer Beals, are trying to conceive, and Tina spends a lot of the first season pregnant. They are depicted as the most stable couple, the one that all of their friends look up to.
After losing the baby, she goes to The Dinah and all of the friends share their coming out stories. We learn that Tina had been dating a man when she first met Bette, but that it was basically love at first sight. The two have been together ever since then.
Tina goes on to fulfill a damaging bi stereotype of leaving her longtime lesbian partner for a man. However, she returns to Bette and the two are engaged at the end of the last season.
