Dina (voiced by Shannon Woodward) is one of the supporting characters in the first part of the survival horror video game The Last of Us Part II (2020). Dina is outgoing, flirtatious, and quick-witted, often lightening the mood after an intense encounter with the infected.
Dina comes to live in Jackson County, Wyoming, in a community led by Tommy and Maria. In the beginning, she is in a relationship with another camp survivor named Jesse and meets Ellie and Joel when they find refuge in Jackson. When we are introduced to Dina, she already ended her relationship with Jesse.
Dina and Ellie shared an intimate moment during a party held at a church inside the settlement. Dina asked Ellie to dance and they kissed, making funny comments about Ellie having more chances with Dina than with any other boy in the community.
The next day, they go out together to patrol the area and have to take refuge in an old library because of a snowstorm. They spend the night holding each other.
Dina eventually joins Ellie in her quest for revenge and at some point, we discover that she is pregnant with Jesse’s child and is forced to stay behind while Ellie goes ahead. Toward the end of the game, Dina and Ellie are shown raising the child together.
