Alex has no problem embracing the bi label, but the constant harassment of his friends and lovers often leave him wondering if he should pursue more accepted lifestyles. The creation of Alex is still a rarity in modern media - a bi person of color played by a bi person of color - with the added scarcity of being written and created by a bi person of color.
