The survivors list consists of ONLY of Rape Survivors.
All are in different stages of Healing. Healing defined: an active effort to acknowledge within oneself that one is not to blame and deserves the best in life.
The subscribers are a diverse group of women who have come together to provide support to one another as each one travels her own path of healing from sexual assault.
As women of diversity, we do not discriminate against others for their race, age, religion, sexual orientation, economic or marital status, physical and or mental condition, or educational background.
Our list is completely confidential and has been generously donated by bi.org.
The Ascending Moon mailing list is for the discussion of surviving and healing from sexual assault. The topics of discussion found here include, fears, therapy, telling our families, depression, dealing with flashbacks, nightmares and also information and news regarding sexual assault. We are survivors supporting each other by sharing ourselves and our experiences with one another. In this way we have found that we are not alone in our walk down the path to healing.
